July, 2007 Tackling Computer ProblemAloha from Down Unda!   Yeah, same computer shut down was happening here with my LavasoftSE AdAware & 'several' other 'programs'!  It was learned that there is a sustained email worm which incorporates lots of programs & files, is tenacious & was responsible for multiple shut downs since Fri, Jul 20th.  The Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool was long & laborious until the 'custom' folder checks were employed. There were about 2% of 250k 'objects' corrupted!  It is still a major concern as there are only about 10-20% of my 'corrupted objects' scanned 'so far'. It may take awhile as we're still recieving way too many 'blank' emails in both MSN & Yahoo! accounts with 'e-cards' & pdf attachments,  which are always immediately reported as 'junk' & 'spam'!!  It is a nightmare  to not be able to find any faults until things are pearshaped but you're encouraged to be as tenacious as the miserable worm launchers!  Best wishes ~ k-den
