    Aloha !!
I couldn't believe that no television service was available in Las Vegas...then I finally get through the b.s. to the third option (attached peektures)  Whew!  I KNEW we saw TV when we were there in 2004!   I was just speculating what would be on in Vegas this morning when I thought I'd look it up.  The bad news of the high crime rate was momentarily attributed to the lack of television...too stoopid, eh?  Oh well...

Computers are like air conditioners. They work fine until you start opening windows.

Do you like Oprah Winfrey? why and why not?
    Aloha from Down Unda!
I'm from Chicago & grew up in the miserable, impoverished side of town enduring the bleak winters & pitiful conditions of the city in the 50s & 60s. 'Orca' was a pitiful case in The Color Purple & Roots & always reminds me of the whinny, bawling mindlessness of that repulsive side of life I detested & escaped by enlisting in the US Army in 1967 as a high school dropout at age 17. Our President had been shot just a few years earlier & the civil rights movement with daily riots was well underway, soldiers dying in VietNam & the influx of womens liberation overshadowed the 'Summmer of Love' while we landed on the moon in 69.  Jump 25 years later & this fat, ugly, negro woman with more money than God is plastered on a huge marque in Honolulu's Aloha Tower & I nearly puke! It's been consistant nausea in spite of plenty of Race Relations seminars, Equal Opportunity Management classes, an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts, an open mind & soul searching of a lifetime.   If she was on fire I wouldn't waste spit & only answer this as self help therapy to vent my complete disgust, repugnance & contempt for her & ANYONE lame enough to watch her & her she it! When the program is on television, I'm careful to be sure the channel is nowhere close to that station & should she be mentioned in any news or talk show, I even temporarily switch off David Letterman & can't get to the remote fast enough. She is a pity party on roids & a complete waste of my space!  Excuse me, I gotta hurl...

So an 'automatic gag reflex' of sight, sound or thought of an ugly
negro woman, Orca Winfree, qualifies ME for a 'violation'?  You phuquers

It's certainly fitting for cnet.com.au to offer an opportunity for a trip to Las Vegas Nevada to attend the International Consumer Electronics Show high tech convention merely days after we have already booked the entire month of Feb 07 for another Las Vegas adventure. It's so fitting for us as a result of recognizing that our last trip to Las Vegas from Port Macquarie was in 2004, when we won the 2003 competition sponsered by UBISOFT's introduction of their CSI Game. That 2003 competition was won while using a complimentary computer service installed at Port Macquarie's Panther's Club. We didn't even own a computer yet! So immediately upon return from that trip, after spending 3 weeks in the Fashion Show Mall APPLE Computer Store investigating our options, we rushed over to Harvey Norman & finally bought this [ready to be replaced] Packard Bell Pentium IV Windows XP [Home] & have been immersed in nearly 3 years of saturated 'high tech' internet. The countless hours of surfing have resulted in endless visits to worldwide sites & incorporation of so very many advantages of being 'on-line'. For an example, one solitary question to Yahoo!Answers enabled us to save $3,000[US] for accomodation! Instead of $4,ooo, we are able to kick out a measely grand for the entire month! Vacation Rentals By Owners [VRBO] made it possible to look forward to a kitchenette within 2 blocks of the 'Strip' without the $4 for a bottle of water from Caesars! Obviously, this $3,ooo paid for the computer! It would be wonderful to make two trips to Las Vegas from Port Macquarie in January AND February! Imagin the jet lag inside a month! We ARE confident that, with the 7% 'Best Answers' from Yahoo!Answers, winning the 2003 competition & so many other successes, it's not impossible! We might be 'dreamin', but it would certainly be another splendid achievement to have the opportunity to offer objective observations of the sensational newest gadgets from one of the world's most exciting & finest venues! We would make good and sure that 'what happens in Vegas', gets the full story to Australia! And probably in 'real time' with anticipated technological accesses! Hopefully, there will be plenty of CORE 2 experts to further enlighten us about the advantanges of recently released improvements for the typical home desktop PC users & ways we can be reassured that laptops won't melt our dreams of mobility & versatility. The ability to easily impliment televised broadcasts with computers is currently realised by a growing small number, but the explosion of that number should be facilitated by these capabilites being diseminated to the rest of us without too much hassle & safely! There's always so much to learn & so little time to fully digest such a massive amount of information. HOW SAD AND HOW VERY TRUE

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who
has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was
since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.
He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as
knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the
worm, life isn't always fair, and maybe it was my fault.
Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend
more than you earn) and reliable parenting strategies (adults, not
    children, are in charge).
His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well intentioned but
overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a six-year- old
boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens
suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher
fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.
Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the
job they themselves failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.
It declined even further when schools were required to get parental
consent to administer Panadol, sun lotion or a Band Aid to a student -
but could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and
    wanted to have an abortion.
Common Sense lost the will to live when criminals received better
    treatment than their victims.
Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a
burglar in your own home and the burglar can sue you for assault.
Common Sense finally gave up the will to live after a woman failed to
realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in
her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.
    Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust;
his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason.
He is survived by three stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else is
to Blame, and I'm A Victim.
Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.
If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

"Australian Slang  G'day, mate! Learn these Australian slang words and phrases and you'll feel at home on your first day Down Under"
It's a big fat lie.  A visitor to Australia will ALWAYS feel like a fish outta water & constantly reminded  to feel not welcome, alienated and anywhere but home!  Sounds harsh?  It is!  As harsh as the sandpaper twang of 'shonky', 'G'day' & friggin 'mate'!  'Are you right?'  Hell NO!  Not as long as we're stranded in the world's largest insane asylum.   Oh sure, there are some exceptions but generally, in the overall scheme of things, it's 'down under' for a reason!

Windows Live Spaces  fails to open in my own space on my own computer without an exceptional amount of extrodinary logins without direct logical access.  Robo auto fill form incorporation closes all open NineMSN IE websites.  Page to page, any NineMSN Hotmail,  'home page', or any other page already 'logged' on, signed in & running.  Opening a 'new' page from the NineMSN home page displays 'sign-in' when already signed in on the 'base' page.  The madness increases significantly when it's been 4 days since 'The Late Show with David Letterman' aired Monday night [Tuesday Morning] with Friday the 13th show!  It's easy to 'blog' ABOUT  it but it's IMPOSSIBLE  to overcome the dial up speed of Telstra/BigPond NineMSN broadband blogging.  Throw in an extra IE7 program, a days rollback to IE6, the Flash 9.ocx & a couple Java platforms & the next thing we need is a 5 pound sledge!  Nothing that a duffle bag full of 100 dollar (US) bills won't cure, I'm so sure!  The exasperation is unparalleled.  It's too easy to see why 5 pound sledges are so popular...& Nine/NBN NineMSN Spaces  is loosing popularity

Gee, if ever there is a reason to blog ~ check out this page of an event we missed last week! -
http://www.turkey-testicle-festival.com/   The music is phenomenally Americana at it's best!

    Fast Thinker
A man walked into the produce section of his local supermarket, &  asked  to buy half a head of lettuce. The boy working in that department  told him that they only sold whole heads of lettuce.  The man was insistent that the boy ask his manager about the matter.   Walking into the back room, the boy said to the manager, "Some old
bastard wants to buy half a head of lettuce."   As he finished his sentence, he turned to find the man standing
right  behind him, so he quickly added, "& this gentleman kindly offered  to  buy the other half."
The manager approved the deal, and the man went on his way.  Later the manager said to the boy, "I was impressed with the way you  got  yourself out of that situation earlier. We like people who think on their feet here.    Where are you from son?"  "New Zealand, sir," the boy replied.   "Well, why did you leave New Zealand?" the manager asked.   The boy said, "Sir, there's nothing but prostitutes & rugby  players  there."   "Really?" replied the manager "My wife is from New Zealand!   Really?? " replied the boy. "Who did she play for?"

Aloha NineMSN & Telstra ADSL Broadband!!
         Extremely shabby!
Way too long to load, extremely unreliable extremely disappointing with extraordinary unexpected errors , browser closings & frequent failures to interact with Hotmail  entries, failure to display graphics  & a complete waste of energy, efforts & time.
The pitiful questions disregard the pitiful so called service
The service is a big fat blatant lie.
The faults are not limited to the constant inability  to comply with basic requirements .
Telstra Broadband is as bad as dial up  & NineMSN is far worse than nixie tubes in a FADAC.
A dixie cup & string would be as much fun & just as efficient.
Please be Sure to have a wonderful day, anyway!Tropical IslandTanx!
