    Gee, boredom is a terrible sin!
    It means we've failed to incorporate our life in fulfilling ways.
    If anything, we should find our computer to be a boredom breaker!
    There's just too awful much to learn, do, share & create!
    I've never been 'bored' a day in my life!
    Maybe a few hours of incarceration for unpaid traffic tickets & traffic court but that was the worst!
    ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((
    Okay, so today, I was ready to coin a new toim,
    "Rest Rant".
    You know, like a endless tyrade of all the things wrong with service
    at a restaurant called 'Little Fish'
    in the middle of a wine vineyard
    that sells no beer
    & keeps key rappy staff
    too high n mighty to join two tables of four
    to accomodate our party of 8
    & fail to hide their ineptness by spilling gravy on my pants
    & continuously display that they simply don't care?.?
    I don't know how to splain it...
    & we all know ifin I gotta splain it, ya wouldn't understand...
    so I'll dispense with the rant &
    file away, for another day,
    a review of yet another Australian disappointment.

    Nineteen Days til Viva Las Vegas Baby!

         Gee, it's hard to believe we're down to
    19 days
    til we set out for Las Vegas!  
    Ummm...bright lights, fine food, rootbeer,  television,
    Jack-In-The Box, Wendy's, Hershy's, shopping & 'Soivice'! 
     
    A whole month with
    No Crickett, No Rugby, No "Doors, Doors, Doors"!   
    No Seven, Nine & Ten tardy re-runs
    stompin out the punchlines! 
     
    Routine 'Letterman',
    good ole 'Regis & Kelly' &
    real television entertainment
    yet to be made available down unda. 
     
     It will surely be an exercise in 
    'Beachpark appreciation'!
    ...there's gonna be no background surf sounds either ...
     
    Oh well...

    Aloha from Down Unda! :wave:
    It's been 2007 here for nearly 9 hours & yet this morning we're waiting for the New York City Ball to drop! This EarthCam site is fairly smooth with six views displayed on the screen, it's as if we're 'there' & get to enjoy it all without the hassles of the traffic or the crazys. Too friggin kewl!
    Our celebration at Beachpark included the traditional 'Town Green' fireworks display enhanced by the nearby thunder, lightning & rain which was simultaneously entertaining. Shorts bursts of lightning were often mirrored by short bursts of fireworks displays & the rumble of thunder was echoed with the blasts of the event cannons. Yeah, the weather was much more spectacular than the puney man-made show, which was very impressive for such a small community of 60,000.
